How it works
More than a lesson. A development system.
A good session should leave you knowing three things: what we're working on, why, and what to do before the next one. That's the whole idea. Here is how it runs.
The cycle
Seven steps, in order, every time
01
Evaluate
Sixty minutes on the mound with video. I see what's there before I say anything.
02
Identify
One or two things. Not ten. The ones that change the most if we fix them.
03
Develop
We work on it. Mound, strength, shoulder care — in that order, every session.
04
Assign
You leave with drills in the portal, with a video for each one. You know what to do on Tuesday.
05
Review
Film comes in, I write back. A recap lands in the portal the night of every lesson.
06
Measure
Velocity, command, how the arm feels. Numbers with context, not numbers for their own sake.
07
Adjust
The plan changes when the pitcher does. We don't run the same session twelve times.
Then it starts again. The evaluation sets the baseline; every review after that is measured against it, and the plan moves when the pitcher does.
Between lessons
What you actually get
Most of the development happens on the days I'm not there. This is what makes those days count.
A written recap
The night of every lesson. What we worked on, the one cue to remember, and what to do before next time.
Drills you can actually do
Assigned in the portal with a video for each one, so nobody has to remember what I said in the car.
Film review
Send four short clips from your phone. I write back with what I see and what to change.
Progress you can both see
The plan, the priorities, and what has moved — in one place the parent and the pitcher both log into.
Who it's for
Ages 8 to 21. Any level.
A ten-year-old moving up to the big mound and a varsity pitcher chasing command get the same process. The priorities are different. The system isn't.
If your son is sore or hurt, tell me before we start. Arm pain gets looked at by a doctor, not a pitching coach, and I'll work around what the doctor says.
Start here
Step one is the $99 evaluation
Sixty minutes on the mound with video, a breakdown of what I see, and a written plan. If you decide not to carry on, you still leave with the plan.
Ready for the next step?
New pitchers start with a 60-minute evaluation with former MLB pitcher Mike Johnston: video, a written plan, and the next step. Already training with us? Send film any time.
